The company also has an option agreement to acquire interest in Shot Rock property comprising 1,182 mining claims covering an area of 185 square kilometers located along with the Trans-Canada highway between New Glasgow and Antigonish. Northern Shield Resources Inc. was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
