Fission Uranium Corp. owns the near-surface, high-grade Triple R Deposit at PLS - the largest undeveloped uranium deposit in Canada's Athabasca Basin, which is home to the world's richest uranium mines. Recent highlights include a preliminary economic assessment study (PEA) that shows the Triple R has the potential to be one of the lowest-cost sources of uranium in the world. In addition, the company has announced that CGN Mining is investing CDN$82M in Fission Uranium to become the company?s largest shareholder. This is the first time a Chinese company has invested directly in a Canadian company.The management team is led by CEO & Chairman, Dev Randhawa and Ross McElroy, COO, President & Chief Geologist. Mr. Randhawa and Mr. McElroy have successfully built Fission into Canada?s leading uranium explorer. The team has received the top awards in the mining sector, including The Northern Miner?s ?Mining Persons of the Year (in 2013, PDAC?s Bill Dennis award for exploration success (in 2014) and The Mining Journal?s Excellence award for Exploration success (in 2015). Fission Uranium was spun-out to the shareholders of Fission Energy Corp, after Fission Energy was acquired by Denison Mines Corp. in February, 2013. In December 2013, Fission Uranium consolidated 100% ownership of the PLS Property, which comprises seventeen mineral claims totaling 31,309 ha, is Fission Uranium's sole property asset.Exploration and development is ongoing at the Triple R deposit and elsewhere on the highly prospective PLS property.
