The company's Technical segment provides vessel surveying; liquefied natural gas consulting; marine engineering; ship construction and supervision; marine warranty surveying; offshore project management; energy loss adjusting; and environmental consulting services. Its Logistics segment offers port and liner agency, hub agency, freight forwarding and project and cargo management, and customs clearance services. It also advises clients on corporate and finance related to maritime industry, including restructuring advisory, corporate finance advisory, merger and acquisition, asset brokerage, interim/pre-insolvency management, financial asset management, equity and debt financing, IPO consulting, and loan servicing. It operates in the United Kingdom, Singapore, the United States, Australia, Germany, and the rest of the world. The company was formerly known as Braemar Seascope Group plc and changed its name to Braemar Shipping Services plc in June 2007. Braemar Shipping Services plc was founded in 1842 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.
