Bank of Ireland Group plc provides various banking and financial products and services in the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, and internationally. The company operates through five segments: Retail Ireland, Bank of Ireland Life, Retail UK, Corporate and Treasury, and Group Centre. Its products and services include current accounts and deposit services, overdrafts, term loans, mortgages, business and corporate lending, international asset financing, leasing, instalment credit, invoice discounting, foreign exchange (FX) facilities, interest and exchange rate hedging instruments, life assurance, and pension and protection products. The company's product and services also include credit facilities, project finance, wealth management, credit cards, financial planning and investments, retirement planning, funding and acquisition, leveraged acquisition finance, property finance, day-to-day cash management, treasury, trade finance, transaction support and agency, escrow agency, agriculture investment fund, BOIUK payment acceptance, asset and commercial finance, treasury deposit products, and personal products. It serves customers through a network of 250 branches and approximately 1,600 ATMs in the Republic of Ireland; and access to 11,500 branches and 2,400 ATMs in the U.K. via the company's relationship as financial services partner with the U.K. Post Office. Bank of Ireland Group plc was founded in 1783 and is headquartered in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland.
